Groomed the trail from Turner Ctr. to the Turner Plaza Wednesday night. Watch out for the water holes, i filled them in but the water was still running under the snow. Russ has the power line in good shape from the Nezinscot River north. Lets see how the snow makes it after the rain on sunday. Ride safe, Ed Morris TRR President..

Jan. 23rd. Just got done riding Turner trails today along with others in the area. At about 1:45 this afternoon saw 1 groomer backing into driveway after apparently grooming racetrack for 1 lunger race that won’t be happening until end of Feb. Trails did not look like they had been groomed for a few days. Last night the temps were down in the single numbers, I would think a perfect night to get out and work our whole trail system. With all the equipment we have in Turner I’m not sure why we are grooming a race track that won’t be used until the end of Feb. and we can’t get people and equipment out grooming so we have good trails for the weekends. More people are going to be riding our trails than racing in Feb. Priority should be on all of our trails and in more frequency. Just my opinion!

Some people just dont know what trails to ride. I hit trails by the track 3 times and it was fine. 2-3 groomers in that area use their own equipment and we appreciate their time and machinery. Oh and hello without a track and race we have no money to groom. I rode in and out of town Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday night on my way home the trails were perfectly groomed. It was one of the best parts of the ride, I think you need to get out and explore a little to find out just how much fun you can have around town.

The trails are a little rough right now, hopefully this snow will give the guys something to groom. The hard pack is difficult to work with. Maybe by race day we will have some riding.
